Our experience extends to large scale adaptive re-use, working in sensitive environments, integrating significant landscape elements, working within sensitive heritage contexts, and implementing award-winning sustainable design practices.

STAR VOYAGER AT ACMI
THE CENTRE FOR IDEASTHE CENTRE FOR IDEASSTAR VOYAGER AT ACMI, AND HERO APARTMENTS LOBBY (ABOVE)Our residential projects include the design of bespoke, prototypical residences that blend homeliness, functionality, and a sense of wondrous creative invention.
These projects range from the complete transformation of a dilapidated 1960s cream brick, red-tiled house into a rich and rambling suburban family residence, to the re-planning and redecoration of an inner-city apartment, and the total refit of a heritage-listed two-storey Victorian terrace.
WATTLE AVENUE HOUSE Our projects have received prestigious awards, including the Australian Institute of Architects awards for the Victorian College of the Arts Centre for Ideas (2004), the Australian Wildlife Health Centre at Healesville Sanctuary (2006), and RMIT New Academic Street (2018), which garnered accolades in categories such as Educational Architecture, Urban Design, Interior Architecture, and Sustainability.
For our Alice Smith School project in Malaysia we were awarded the PAM Category 13 Gold Award for Collaboration (2015). And we have twice been awarded the Premier’s Design Award, for the Australian Wildlife Health Centre (2008) and the Edithvale Seaford Wetlands Discovery Centre (2012).
